Working with the WW Norton textbook publishing company to explore the future of the textbook industry, my partner Tess Manthou and I developed History Muse. Designed to bridge the gap between new teachers and their potential by providing access to the best tools and resources, as a project History Muse involved in-depth exploration of current trends in education and limitations to new teachers, as well as examination of a long-term process and how our system would remain relevant over many years of use.

Persona Icon Fun
Personal Work, Spring 2015
While building a research template, I realized that the majority of the icons available to me weren’t diverse in their character.
In order to resolve this situation, and in order to practice working with vectors, which I was new to at the time, I developed a set of paper-doll style persona components, and built them into a series of characters. Although I did not end up using them for the template I was building, they have since been re-purposed to help outfit this portfolio.
